Springfields Events & Conference Centre is owned by the charity, Springfields Horticultural Society. The Society directs all of its funds towards the maintenance of its 15 acre show gardens and keeps them free to enter for the use of the local community and visitors, thus promoting the area’s bulb growing heritage (particularly daffodils and tulips) as well as encouraging people to take up gardening as a means of relaxation and healthy living.
All profits from the trading activities of the Events Centre are gift-aided to the Society to help with the costs of maintaining the Gardens. Anyone attending events or holding parties, weddings or conferences at the Centre is therefore helping to keep the Gardens as a significant local amenity, open for people of all ages to enjoy 364 days a year.
The Events Centre has direct access through to the 15 acres of Springfields Festival Gardens as well as a children’s Adventure Land, a garden centre with restaurant, The Kitchen pub/restaurant and a shopping village with 55 outlet stores. Accommodation is available at the 43 bedroom Travelodge hotel adjacent to the Springfields site.
